Scion will open door for literacy at Houston Auto Show
For Immediate Release:
Houston, TX - The new Scion iQ may be the world's smallest four-seater, but next week it will be doing a big part to open the door for literacy at Houston's Auto Show. Scion will be donating $2 per test drive taken during the show (up to a maximum of $2000) to support the mission of Literacy Advance.
Literacy Advance has been helping adults achieve personal literacy goals and self-sufficiency since 1964.
The Houston Auto Show will be held January 25 - 29 at Reliant Arena.
Drivers can move to the front of the line by reserving their spot on Facebook. However, an RSVP is not necessary to participate in the event and support Literacy Advance. Test drives will be offered Wednesday (January 25) and Thursday (January 26) from noon to 8 pm and Friday (January 27) through Sunday (January 29) from 10 am to 6 pm.
Literacy Advance of Houston offers English as a Second Language and Adult Basic Education classes to students at its main campus on Wilcrest and at its Bay Area campus. In addition, Literacy Advance partners with communities to offer classes in area schools and libraries.
